When I moved to Jordan, one of the first things I noticed at the grocery store was how different the snack options were for kids. In the U.S., I grab Go-Gurts or portable yogurt packets, but here? They don’t sell them. And while food pouches exist, they’re ridiculously expensive—and not even flavored with real fruit. Portable flavored yogurt just doesn’t exist for small children in Jordan. That’s why I started making my own 3 Ingredient Fruit Yogurt Pouches at home. Not only are they cheaper, but I know exactly what goes into them.
So, instead of spending way too much money on something I wasn’t even thrilled about, I decided to make my own homemade fruit yogurt pouches. The best part? I know exactly what ingredients are going into them. No preservatives, no added sugar—just fruit, yogurt, and a touch of honey if you’d like.
These 3 Ingredient Fruit Yogurt Pouches have become a staple in our home. They’re quick to make, kid-approved, and freezer-friendly. My kids love them for breakfast, lunchboxes, or on-the-go snacks. I’ve made them with strawberries, apricots, apples, mango, pineapple, and even kiwi. You really can’t go wrong!
👉 And if you’re looking for inspiration, these pouches are also included in my 30 Days of School Lunches as one of the easy side options you can mix and match. They pair perfectly with sandwiches, muffins, or wraps when packing a balanced lunch.
Pro Tip for Babies: If you’re making these yogurt pouches for babies under one year old, leave out the honey. Honey isn’t safe for babies under one, but after their first birthday, you can absolutely add it for a natural sweetness.
