Butter Boards are in and your girl is digging it because I love all things butter.
It’s likely the Dutch in me that is obsessed with a warm piece of bread slathered with butter. So when I saw TikTok going crazy of over Butter Boards, I had to jump on this trend.
There’s talk that Charcuteries are out, but in all honesty, I think they both have something unique to offer. You can’t tell someone Dutch to choose between butter and cheese. That’s nearly impossible! I mean, if you’ve ever been to the Netherlands and gotten a cheese sandwich, they spread butter on the inside. It’s like a magical mix of all the beautiful things in the world.
Pistachio Halva Butter Board
Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- Softened butter
- Eshta (thick cream)
- Halva
- Pistachios
- Dried roses
- Honey
- Your favorite bread
Directions
- Pick out your favorite wooden or marble board
- Spread softened butter with the back of a spoon covering the board, but leaving some space at the edges.
- Add dollops of Eshta on top of the butter
- Sprinkle Halva
- Top with crushed dried rose petals
- Drizzle with honey
- And serve with your favorite bread
